Making Sacred Wands and Powersticks
In this workshop your kids will make an authentic wand. The children will choose their wands out of our grounds and then decorate them with crystals, vines, feathers, and jewels-we then explain to them the powers of their own creation.
Being Organised-it’s easier than you think!
There are 5 simple steps that children can learn to become more organised-we teach this during the workshop as well as some hands-on examples. Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.
Superheroes
We teach the children that they indeed have their own superpowers: Kindness, generosity, honesty, braveness and being their unique selves! Lots of superhero costumes and individual attention to draw out your child’s unique abilities.

This workshop will be run by senior drama students who will choose the drama theme! There will be lots of scripts, costumes and props to use-PLUS the children get to take turns in being the actors/directors/theatre staff or audience with an opportunity to perform!!

Study Bears
Kays little study bears are a clinically proven helper in memory and clear thinking! the kids will be making their own study bears with their own unique personal signature qualities! These guys are small enough to put under your pillow for a good night sleep as well as enhance your memory when exams are pending. We will be using rosemary and lavender sprigs to enhance our teddies as rosemary has effects on mood, learning, memory, anxiety, and sleep, and lavender aids insomnia, mood swings and stress!

Such a favorite!! Ian and his sea creatures/stories and pirate antics are always a huge success-baby sharks/starfish/sea creatures and more sea folk for this hands-on workshop.
STOP Arguing!
Kids love to argue their point with everybody and anybody! What they need to realise is in lots of cases its disrespectful to be argumentative. This workshop will explain to the children why they argue. This is a really revealing workshop with great results and interesting discussions! Facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave.

Make your own Swords or Shields
Newcastle men’s shed have made some wonderful swords and shields for the children to sand and shape as well as decorate- we will be working with the children to create some heirlooms! Included will be a talk about the uses of swords and shields in times long gone!
Sibling Rivalry
Sibling rivalry has been identified to be more common among children who are the same gender and close together in age-however every family will deal with this at some stage. Counsellor Nicole Neave will discuss the reason behind this with the children and give them some tools to better deal with it.

Creative Creatures-FIRST TIME OFFERED
Help awaken the children’s creative potential through performance arts and a variety of movement, rhythm and art activities. The environment will be transformed into a UV (ultraviolet) wonderland! The “creature” will interact with the children with a variety of handmade UV magic boxes and UV props; UV rhythm sticks activity in circle, UV slime activity, UV Clay activity, UV painting activity.

Frustration-the other ‘f’ word:
Helping children overcome frustration-facilitated by Counsellor Nicole Neave. Being frustrated and how we deal with this emotion is a major issue for both children and adults. Firstly, we discuss how children express frustration and the situations that tend to elicit it. Next, we provide alternatives to unacceptable expressions of frustration and discuss that practice makes perfect and help the children develop a strategy of taking one small step at a time in approaching new things.
Seraphic Edge:
Rachel from Seraphic Edge will get the kids up and moving about in this workshop full of Drama, Dance and Yoga! This is a delightfully playful workshop that combines yoga and dance to inspire movement in a deeply awakening way.
